On Second Thought

Ok.. so I reread my post yesterday and felt like I was whining.. and what I really want to say is that I do so realize how difficult this whole thing is for my grandson. He is going to a new school, strarting his first job, and has been deserted by his mother. And, he is holding up really well.

I am proud of his resilience and his smiles in the face of so much change.

I appreciate his offers of help, love listening to him playing his guitar, and want so very much for him to succeed in his new endeavors.

I didn't think you were winning! Just stating the facts that your life has suddenly changed. He is so blessed to get to live with you....and you are blessed to get to spend time with him and be a part of his growing. :)
