For the first time this year we planted a fall garden. Though we've had a lot of rain during the summer it has now slacked off and the spinach and lettuce look a little weak, and a mole decided to tunnel through the raised bed they're in.

The cabbage has been attacked by something and we have dusted it with diatomaceous earth and hope that gets rid of the pests.

The green beans, however, are flourishing, though growing much more slowly due to cooler temps and shorter days. They've got lots of little beans on there and I am hoping for a late frost this year so I will
be able to harvest some!

Great pics roseg. I wish I had a garden again. Nothing
like fresh veggies .That pesky mole !
Good luck with your fall garden. We are also trying, for the first time, cold-weather veggies in a small greenhouse and a cold frame.
Yay! Good luck with the fall garden :) What zone are you in?
Hoping to pick green beans later today :)
I wish I had a greenhouse Liv!
And I'm in zone 5 nefaeria.
Great idea. I'd just like to have any garden! Awaiting my home remodel project to be over so I can landscape and build the garden beds. If all goes well I might have them in by spring!
